Brisbane group logistics: airport, river venues and stadium days
Brisbane runs on a short airport transfer and a river that splits the venues. The council publishes where coaches may park and the airport publishes where they wait; arrive with both in the plan.
BNE arrivals
From the Domestic Terminal to City Hall is about 16 km, some 20 minutes outside peak periods, on the tolled AirportlinkM7 or the Gateway Motorway. Until the flight is down and passengers are through, licensed operators hold at no charge in the Central Parking Area, reached via Nancy Bird Way from Bert Hinkler Drive. Domestic pickups use the Bus and Coach area facing the multi-level car park, kept for vehicles carrying five or more; international pickups use the shared area on the terminal's southern side, off the Level 2 arrivals road.
The two terminals are separate buildings, joined by a free transfer bus every 10 minutes or so and by Airtrain. If a group lands on both domestic and international flights, split the passenger list by terminal, or one party stands waiting while the vehicle crosses.

Parking a coach in the inner city
Inner-city coach parking is limited to approved locations and times, which the council maps for the CBD, Fortitude Valley and South Brisbane; the signs on the day override the map. For a longer wait in the CBD, use the Albert Street spaces (Margaret to Alice streets) or Upper Albert Street (Turbot Street to Wickham Terrace). The South Brisbane Depot takes longer-term coach parking, booked ahead on the Bus Parking Calendar.
BCEC is at South Bank, across the river from the CBD, so morning delegate loops from the CBD and Queen's Wharf hotels include a bridge crossing each way. Build it into the first pickup time.

Suncorp Stadium event days
Coach and limousine parking in the stadium's on-street zones is by application only, for registered buses with 12 or more seats, first come first served. Premium spaces are not assured for applications lodged less than three weeks before a major event. Heussler Terrace works for set-down and collection only: no waiting, no idling. Apply as soon as tickets are confirmed.
Out of the city
Surfers Paradise and Australia Zoo are each about an hour; Noosa is roughly 1.75 hours and Toowoomba 1.5. Guided walks at Lamington or Springbrook need a tour operator with a Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Commercial Activity Permit, separate from the transport. All the south-east's toll roads are cashless, and the Gateway crossing of the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges always passes the Murarrie toll point.
Questions
Can the vehicle wait at the kerb for a delayed flight?
No. It waits in the Central Parking Area and comes to the pickup zone once passengers are through. Send flight numbers so the landing can be tracked.
How early should we apply for Suncorp Stadium coach parking?
More than three weeks before a major event, since later applications may miss the premium spaces.
Can one vehicle cover a Brisbane session and a Gold Coast dinner?
Yes. Surfers Paradise is about 80 km south, around an hour. Send both addresses and the finish time and the quote covers the full run.
