Services built around the group's movements
Choose the kind of program. Each service page sets out the rules that apply, what the operator needs from you and the cities where the service is most often booked.
Same vehicles, different constraints
A conference shuttle loops between hotels and a venue all day, so driver hours shape the roster. A school group needs drivers whose licences and authorities are current. A team brings kit that fills the luggage bays. A winery day needs the last pickup timed to the cellar doors' closing, and a wedding needs a late final run.
Why the first leg is usually the airport
Most programs begin with a flight, and the rules below show why vehicle size matters from that first leg: a car or Sprinter and a coach can sit under different state regimes, so the executive car and the delegate coach may come from different operators. That split is ours to manage.
Regulations that apply
- In Western Australia, drivers carrying passengers for hire or reward need an annual passenger transport driver (PTD) authorisation
Questions
Can a greeter meet the group in arrivals?
Ask in the brief. Some operators can provide one, and if so it appears as a line on the quote.
What if the program fits no category?
Send it as a run sheet. Quotes are built from your timings, not from a package.
Do the rules differ between states?
The licensing does. The operator chosen must hold the accreditation that applies where the trip runs.
