Where it fits in a schedule
Use it when a group is too big for two executive cars but should arrive together. It runs airport to hotel, hotel to meetings, and waits in between. For a full team with a suitcase and a laptop bag each, check the rear luggage area against the bag count; large cases may need a second vehicle.

How it is regulated
A van of 4.5 t GVM or less with no more than 12 seats, the driver's included, needs only a class C licence. NSW treats these trips as point to point transport, regulated by the Point to Point Transport Commissioner. Victoria counts a vehicle built to seat ten or more adults as a bus, so a Sprinter there runs as a commercial minibus service. In Western Australia, the driver needs a passenger transport driver authorisation, renewed every year.
Airport pickups
Airports treat the Sprinter as a commercial vehicle. At Brisbane Airport's Domestic Terminal, the Bus and Coach area in front of the multi-level car park is reserved for vehicles carrying five or more passengers. At Gold Coast Airport, every bus and limousine operator registers through the Ground Transport Gateway. Give flight numbers so the pickup follows the actual landing time.

Is a Sprinter the same as a minibus?
Not quite. In NSW it is a point to point vehicle; in Victoria anything seating ten or more is a bus. The operator handles the category, and you choose by headcount and luggage.
Can a Sprinter cover an all-day roadshow?
